As an Associate Lecturer and Outreach Tutor at Manchester School of Art I'm regularly running a huge variety of creative workshops for HE students and young people in the community.

I'm the Club Coordinator  for Manchester School of Art's Saturday Art & Design Club, which gives young people a place to explore their creativity, gain practical skills and make friends.

Together we've explored print-making, animation, weaving, sculpting, pottery, photography, foley sound design, puppetry, sewing, installation art, design thinking and all sorts of drawing. Every year our club puts on a showcase of their work in public exhibitions at Somerset House in London and local Manchester venues.

I've run community workshops for families at public events and with people in care homes, and have also co-produced a variety of teaching resource packs for secondary schools.

I think workshops are a beautiful way to get people talking and love to give people the confidence to get creative!
